Today's Encouragement
There’s so much going on in the world today that feels overwhelming. The list can feel so unbelievably long and so often I feel completely helpless. What can I do to feel like I’m making a difference? Who am I that I would make an impact. It is always during these times, when I’m lost in my thoughts, that the Lord so faithfully pulls me back.

He reminds me that I don’t need to find refuge in myself. I don’t need to have it all figured out. I feel silly even typing those words out, because looking at them and saying them out loud reminds me how ridiculous it is. I can go directly to the Lord and pour out my heart to Him – whether that’s because of something going on in my personal life or it’s a tragic global story. He says to trust in Him at all times. At all times – when I feel helpless, when I feel happy, and even when I think I need to create a plan immediately, I can trust in the Lord.

Prayer
Lord, thank You that You are forever a safe place and refuge for those who love You. That no matter the circumstance, I can turn to the One who created the Heavens and Earth. I pray that I carry that truth with me today and the rest of this week. Thank You Lord for Your faithfulness. In Jesus Christ’s Name, I Pray. Amen.
